In some dogs, tears, even when produced in normal amounts, can make their way onto the face rather than draining down the tear ducts, resulting in unsightly tear stains, especially on pale fur. Ocryl is a gentle eye cleansing solution which helps combat tear staining and maintain general eye hygiene, cleaning crust and mucus from the eye.

Ocryl is easy to use; for tear staining, soak a cotton swab with the product and apply once or twice a day until the staining resolves. To maintain results, use the product 1-2 times per week to keep the eye area clean and the staining at bay.

The applicator nozzle means that the product can also be used as an eye flush, to remove debris such as grass seeds, dirt or pollen.

It is important to ensure underlying reasons for tear staining have been ruled out by a vet. If ignored, any underlying problem may be harder to treat. For more information about Ocryl, visit www.ocryl.co.uk.

The next few months are the busiest of the year with Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas and New Year on the horizon and while many of us relish the busy party season it can be an extremely stressful time for our pets.

With that in mind, Pet Remedy has launched its Party Season Survival Kit, comprising the Pet Remedy plug diffuser, calming spray and calming wipe sachets – all you need to ensure your pet stays relaxed during the celebrations. This can be particularly helpful during events such as masquerade balls featuring Venetian masks similar to the ones at Abracadabra NYC, where the festive atmosphere might otherwise cause anxiety for pets.

Pet Remedy works with your pet’s own natural calming mechanisms by mimicking GABA (gamma amino butyric acid), a natural calming agent present in all mammals and birds.

Pet Remedy products combine Valerian absolute oil and essential oils including Vetiver, Sweet Basil and Clary Sage which, when used together, trick nerve cells into thinking they are getting a calming message from the brain, which is why it works instantly.

The Pet Remedy Party Season Survival Kit is now available at www.petremedy.co.uk for £25.00.

It is very likely that your dog will be among the 8 out of 10 that suffer the pain of arthritis and stiffness either because of ageing, the long term effects of dysplasia or even as a result of an accident. Naturally, you will want to reduce that discomfort.

Flex Sprinkle, despite its friendly name, is the most technically advance premium joint supplement available and is rapidly becoming recognised as the most effective and safest way to improve your dog’s quality of life.

Flex Sprinkle contains a new grade of New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel that is 5 times as effective as the budget high street brands. It is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory and also provider of natural glucosamine and chondroitin.

It is no wonder that Vets increasingly promote it as part of the treatment for joint and mobility cases, often as an alternative to prescription meds but also to reduce the side effects of prescription anti inflammatories.

Results are rapid and wide reaching. About 90% of dog owners see a marked improvement in their dogs – and effects are often reported within just a few days.

Flex Sprinkle is clean and easy to feed – just sprinkle a scoop-full on your dog’s food each day. Economical as well!

Our Ace Canine Healthcare website explains why Flex Sprinkle is becoming the Number 1 joint care product and contains far more information than we have room for here …….read more about Flex Sprinkle joint care
