my dog can be a little tricky to take away, she is good but people aren’t so good with her , she can be nervous as she is a rescue dog!

Harry, our Wire Haired Fox Terrier and his dads would love to enjoy what sounds like an ideal base for a short break. We have all stayed at some interesting and comfortable hotels and inns in the last 2 years since Harry joined the family and Mayfield House sounds like the one that got away ! Having stayed previously in BW hotels the history of Mayfield House would be interesting to learn more about. The countryside nearby Mayfield House is ideal for keeping the ‘dog’ and us healthy and this is what we enjoy the most by holidaying in the UK…and the dog doesn’t mind what the weather does either.

This year was the first year we went away without Charlie, our 7 year old Cairn Terrier, and we really missed him and think he deserves a break too!

Our wonderful fox red lab, Jonson needs a holiday as much as we do! We love our work, although long hours with abfabdogs day care and boarding business.

Bless him, Jonson he has been so patient, great with other dogs especially puppies. He was a failed assistance dog with Canine Partners and came to us 4 years ago, a very insecure soul as having several homes in his youth did not suit his nature. He has come a million miles since and is now helping other dogs to chill out and have fun!

Having had a serious illness 2 years ago I have been left a wheelchair dependant paraplegic. Apart from my husband who is my rock my rescue dog Bruce is my saviour! I would love to be able to thank them both for everything they do for me, we don’t get many opportunities to spend quality time together and having supported me through 2 years of absolute “hell” I would love to surprise them for a change it would be amazing to have a break away together and give my two boys a treat. Our darling dog always holidays with us. This means that we are usually in a caravan during the warmer months and we struggle to find something suitable out of season. A break in the Cotwolds sounds fantastic, not least because I am a Gloucestershire girl, from not too far across the county border. I could show my husband some old haunts and tell him (some of!) the stories of my youth. Our photogenic Cavalier will of course be happy, as long as he is with us. By the way, I’m a Vicar and you are offering a weekend off – pure bliss!
